"18+" pictures are x-rated pictures.
These are photos with adult content, showing sexual acts or protuding sex while the personality of the person fades from the spotlight (according to German law).

Example: a photo with a natural naked person (e.g. an act photography with a person lying in the bath tub) is not a sexual act and the spot is on the whole person. If the man has an erection or the woman spreaded out legs, sex is protuding and the photo need to be x-rated. Because the server is situated in Germany adjudicative decisions by German law are drawing a sharp distinction between just natural nakedness and sex (adult content). Please take this into consideration, when you are uploading photos and mark them as x-rated according to the difference made by German law.

Please don't mix up erotic with porn, a photo can appeal erotically (good looking dude), but is not adult content (sexual picture) and other way round. This point is very difficult to explain to other cultures, e.g. U.S. or islamic states, because there other differences made by other laws and adult content begins already with natural nakedness of different parts of the human body. In Germany pictures showing sex are not illegal, but you need an adult check (e.g. UGAS).
